The whole purpose of our monthly website maintenance plans is to be proactive on updating the software and preventative in terms of mitigating risk. However, in the case your website gets messed up after a software update or being hacked we have 2 options. 1. restore the last back up or 2. fix the problems that the update caused.
If you have the Maintenance Plus plan, then you have 2 hours of work from us a month that can be applied to remedying the situation, which is usually enough. If you have the ‘Basic Maintenance’ or ‘Monthly Maintenance’ plan, will also be happy to restore your backup or fix the issues, but it would incur our normal hourly charge.
You sure can! We are all about building long term relationships with our clients. Though we would hate to see you go we wouldn’t want to lock anyone in. Request a cancellation via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will immediately stop the next payment.
Generally these plans are for web sites we build or re-design, however we do welcome clients who are looking for a long term relationship with an experienced and dedicated webmaster.
First we need to do a website evaluation to become familiar with the website, how it was built and any potential issues that can arise. As part of the evaluation we will perform all the “Website Updates and Monitoring” tasks and make a full backup. Most importantly we will make a list of issues to fix and suggestions for improvement needed in order to proceed with the website on a monthly plan. The Website Evaluation is a fixed 4-hour fee.
